Nothing hits quite like a homemade sammy with fresh bread. But where to go when the craving hits? Check out Bread & Butter, one of the newer vendors at Goods & Co. Founded by chef Fred Sorrell, the brainchild behind The Neighbours Cooking, the kiosk offers a tantalizing selection of made-from-scratch sandwiches, soups, and sides. The question is, what to try first?
“Bread & Butter offers a core menu of classics done right, focusing on quality ingredients and consistent, delicious offerings,” Sorrell says. Perusing their online website gave this roving reporter some time to mull over the selections. Deciding on the reuben was not a hard sell, however. The combination of fresh bread, slow-roasted corned beef, melty cheese, sauerkraut, and Russian dressing tingled the old taste buds like nothing else.
Next on the list is the traditional clubhouse. Layered high with chicken, fresh tomato, crisp lettuce, and tasty bacon, this classic will be sure to hit just right. Grab a side of their signature Crave dipping sauce, too.
Customers are welcome to stop in any time during market hours at Goods & Co. or order directly through The Neighbours Cooking website seven days a week from 11 am to 8 pm—a convenient option that will also keep you in the loop for future specials and updates. And it’s all about convenience here! “With easy online ordering, customers can choose between delivery, take-out, or even inquire about catering services, making it simple to enjoy fresh, handcrafted meals at home, at work, or wherever hunger strikes,” Sorrell says.
