See intriguing animated short films and painting installations by three innovative and award-winning national/international artists—now showing until March 14th.Panorama/Corrupted Animals - Dagmara Genda - (Toronto/originally from Poland/raised in Thunder Bay)An immersive and chaotic nature infused exhibition, comprised of architectural installation, drawing and collage that addresses clichés of the Canadian landscape.Microgeographica - Carly Waito - (Toronto/originally from Thunder Bay)Detail-rich oil paintings, graphite illustrations and a projected video work, showcasing Waito's series exploring the unique beauty of precious mineral specimens.Short Animated Films - Julia Pott - (Brooklyn, NY/originally from London, UK)A staple of film festivals, Pott's films use strange imagined animal-like characters, rendered in her disarming/inventive illustration style. Her stories are an often funny and sometimes painful search for something intimate and real.DefSup is located on the lower level at 250 Park Avenue; open Tuesday-Saturday, 12-6 pm.
