The TBIBA is partnering with AHA (Arts and Heritage Alliance of Thunder Bay) to add a Festivalcomponent to the event and enhance tourism activities. The collective goal is to establish a connection between the visitors attending the Championship and the arts and cultural community of Thunder Bay and the surrounding area.TBIBA is also planning to host a "FanFest" for the public to attend outside of the scheduled games. The "FanFest" will take place at the venue of Port Arthur Stadium, and Major League Baseball International has tentatively committed to sending five apparatuses from their "FanFest"to the 2010 IBAF World Junior Baseball Championship. These five interactive components are mainstays of the "FanFest" that makes annual appearances at the Major League Baseball All Star game.
