Most of us know that we live in a very special corner of the world, but what we might not know (or know enough about!) is the very real threat that exists in the region for all that we hold dear. Biodiversity examines the interconnection between species and the role that plays in a produc-tive ecosystem. Some questions to consider: Where have all the caribou gone? Can you identify invasive spe-cies? Is Lake Superior in jeopardy? We’ve provided some information, insight, and hopefully some inspira-tion in the following pages.
