On Sunday June, 2 Volunteer Thunder Bay will be hosting the Mayor’s Hike for Charity. Similar to the mayor’s walk, participants will gather pledges to participate; the minimum pledge to participate is $25, prizes for highest fundraisers. Fifty percent of pledges will support the registered non-profit organization chosen by each participant, the other 50% goes towards Volunteer Thunder Bay (VTB) and its programs. VTB Members receive 60% of funds raised.
On the day of the event, come out and enjoy a 3 km, 5 km, or 10 km walk around Centennial Park. This picnic-style event will include entertainment, and refreshments. Pledge forms can be picked up from Volunteer Thunder Bay, or downloaded at www.volunteerthunderbay.com. Register before May 15 to be entered into the early bird draws. Registration is free for children 12 and under.

Volunteer Thunder Bay is a leader in providing our community with thousands of dedicated volunteers who contribute greatly to building our community. Volunteer Thunder Bay promotes volunteerism including recruitment, management and training, and works with our youth, seniors, and other to promote engagement in the community.
