Consortium Aurora Borealis presents “The Baroque Jazz Connection”, a special ticketed event, with guests Mood Indigo, Thunder Bay’s classiest jazz trio, joining Consortium’s regular musicians in an exciting, innovative, “fun” concert. Baroque pieces in traditional scoring and style are followed by a jazz spin, as Glenn Jennings, keyboard, James Langridge, trumpet, and Jim Differ, drums share the stage with Doris Dungan, flute, Martin Blanchet, bass, and string ensemble. Works by Handel, Purcell, Telemann, Bach and Vivaldi, with a few surprises. Join us for an out-of-the-ordinary musical adventure!
