Brasstronaut is doing a cross Canada tour supporting their new full length album Mean Sun, out on May 15th via Unfamiliar Records. Mean Sun is a follow up to their critically acclaimed debut Mt. Chimera, which won them a SOCAN Echo Prize for Canadian song of the year, a Polaris Prize long listing, and chart topping singles on The Hype Machine.
Brasstronaut will be sharing the stage with Icelandic orchestral-pop troupe Útidúr for a spellbinding, cross-cultural road soirée. The show will see the integration of new synths, processors and drum programming as well as a collaboration with reknown visual artist, Michael Markowsky.
